This is Rodger Visitacion’s business (and personal) blog regarding the startup experience and entrepreneurship.
It’s a great, but crazy, time to be an Internet Entrepreneur. This blog is my first public record to vent my personal thoughts, experiences and frustrations in a hopefully thoughful, haphazard, yet somehow cohesive manner.
In college, I founded NetMagazines.com to become one of the top three dedicated magazine subscription sites on the Internet.
I graduated from the University of Washington with a BS degree in Computer Science. UW’s CSE program is consistently a top 10 CSE program in the nation. I had a chance to learn from brilliant thinkers, many who innately understand how to commercialize ideas into real applications and businesses. I still romanticize that time, and apply what I learned there today.
In 2006, I founded a new startup iLetYou, a search engine and store platform for product rental. We started with DVDs and Games, and expanded into a search engine for all products in 2008.
I won’t go into anything overly technical here – that is not at all my intention for this blog. I’ll save the technospeak for those far more willing and experienced to go over all the nitty, gritty details.
Contact me at rodger -at- iletyou.com. I especially love to hear from entrepreneurs – I’d love to hear your story!
